Predominantly forested and swampy, with huge tall trees and
smaller bushing plants. Home to a wide variety of species. A lot
of free-flowing water, high rain and humidity, huge oceans.
Relatively close to the sun and quite warm. Several metropolises,
many large cities down to farming villages. Home to the
Ptatl and capital of
the
Ptatl Shivery. |
Amravas
The Farrago
|
Celendrienne |
Settled in
pre-history
by the
Celendriennes and
subsequently conquered by the
Makkuth
Dynasty.
Through protracted manipulation and sabotage and due to
its distance from the central Makkuth
Dynasty, Amaravas secured her independence and is
the sole independent
Celendrienne world.
Works in conjunction with Letith to maintain its
independence. |
Anabasis
Prodigal Void
|
Corporate:
San Jorge Industries |
An enormous artificial planet set up by
San Jorge Industries
in late Antiquity, built
within an asteroid field chaotically tumbling around a dual sun system.
The location was chosen for its access to many empires, its good
protection, and excellent mineral content. The
artificial planet is a series of sections comprised of both
artificial constructions and hollowed-out asteroids, gradually
joined together as new facilities are needed. The asteroid field is
both mined and inhabited. The twin suns are called Anabasis and Impetus.
Anabasis is a well protected system and has been in armed conflict with both the
Kharkosanth
Empire and the
Makkuth Dynasty. |
Arutukan
The Farrago
|
Makkuth |
The
Celendrienne
homeworld, conquered and annexed by the Makkuth
Dynasty during early
Archaic times. |
Azathoul
The Farrago
|
Core |
Azathoul is on the edge of the Farrago,
where the
Kharkosanth Empire,
Makkuth
Dynasty, and
Core
Commonwealth territories meet. It is a tense and highly
fortified system whose primary world was colonized by the
Makkuth in late
Ancient Times, captured by
the
Kharkosanth in Antiquity
and subsequently recaptured by the
Makkuth before finally being taken by the
Core
Commonwealth in late
Antiquity. Azathoul
is the Core’s first line of defense against aggression
from both the Farrago and the
Kharkosanth Frontier.
Predominantly government built, Azathoul boasts extensive land and
space bases coordinating early detection and response,
communications, and a fairly large
Core
Armada reserve. As part of a non-aggression pact, the
Kharkosanth Empire is allowed to maintain planetary and
in-system military presence, nominally as a safeguard against
Makkuth
action. In addition, a variety of Farrago residents remain in the
major cities, giving Azathoul a tense and metropolitan
atmosphere. Within an asteroid field on the furthest extents of the
system, the
Makkuth maintain a military base, which has recently
expanded to a domed settlement using technology captured
during their unsuccessful invasion of the
Zvetaku Creed world Valentholo. Both the
Commonwealth and
Kharkos tolerate the presence, due in part to the
remaining subjugated
Makkuth population on the planet, but they aren't
happy about it. |
Azatlath
Prodigal Void
|
Corporate:
Azatlath Advanced Construction |
The world of Hala was discovered relatively early in man's
quest into space, during early
Ancient history. Relatively fertile and possessing rich resources
in terms of flora, fauna, and minerals it was rapidly colonized by
industrious settlers. The Azatlath Clan formed around a family of
particularly hard working workers whose exceptional people skills
soon had them organizing and running the majority of work that
occurred on the planet.
Azatlath Advanced Construction began to
export back to the "civilized worlds" at an incredible
rate and soon off-worlders were moving to Hala to work for
Azatlath. An enormous city developed around the various
Azatlath
production facilities. Both this city and the world itself soon
just became known as "Azatlath". Azatlath aggressively
maintains its independence through a security force that rivals
the military of some empires. While
Azatlath Advanced Construction
has facilities located around the galaxy, it continues to
maintain major manufacturing, testing, and development facilities
on Azatlath. The planet is a product of years of heavy industry
and corporate control. It is dirty, industrial, crowded,
"cyberpunk", and shady. |

maintains the rights of "the individual", generally for

thieves, and cut-throats. A lot of shady business is transacted
here. |
Caraconcil
Prodigal Void
|
Bjaki |
Settled with much strife and
determination during
Ancient times. Caraconcil is in close proximity to the
territory of the
Makkuth Dynasty and is often the first to suffer their
incursions, having even been temporarily conquered
in Archaic times. Caraconcil is staunchly proud of both its
independent culture and its civilization in spite of
historic hardship. |

A dark and swampy world
unpleasant to all but the
Makkuth, Ckeresanu is somewhat remote and isolated
from the constant raids and conflict initiated by the
Makkuth Dynasty. Since it was discovered and colonized
in early Archaic
times it has been a sort of resort world to the
Makkuth, and Sulies
here are reserved for the high class or as exceptional
rewards to the recipient. Much of the world is still
uninhabited and specifically maintained as public land by
the
Dynasty. |

Rafer |
Homeworld
of the Rafers. A hot, dryish planet. 60% of the planet's surface is covered by a
single large continent. The center of the continent is a harsh, dry desert. Life
rings the continent at its edges, with fertile plains and beaches and a swath of
lush forest between. Life is aggressive and brutal in the desert but abundant
and diverse along the coasts. |
Cudgel
Prodigal Void
|
Core |
The Cudgel system is an unremarkable little system with a
yellow sun, and five planets plus two gas giants. The second planet of the Cudgel system is little more than a
harsh, dry rock, sparsely vegetated and home to a primitive food web
struggling to survive. The system does, however, lie upon major trade routes of
the Core Commonwealth and several of their independent neighbours. Small refueling stops and trade bases have been
established by number of governments and corporations including
the Core Commonwealth,
Bjaki
Federation, Drayquin
Designs, Volto-Avaiga,
Zyfinbek
Mercantile, the
Zvetaku
Creed,
and (subtly) the Relari. There are
independent and affiliated ground and space bases throughout the
system. Settled during Ancient
Times as a refuelling stop, joined the
Commonwealth during the
Archaic period. |
Cyarkos

Capital of the
Kharkosanth Empire, home of the

Cyarkos Rhulson during
Archaic Times. |
Dhotlach
The Farrago
|
Makkuth |
The second
Makkuth world settled, even when the colony was new in
early Ancient
Times, it was politically old and stuffy. Many of the
Dynasty's most powerful families choose to take up
residence in the musty old buildings that cover the
surface of the planet. |
Drayquin
Prodigal Void
|
Core |

Skald |
The Republic of Domos
maintains several major mining bases, colonies, and
refuelling stations on the moons of a gas giant. The
Kingdom of Lissing maintains a small colony and refuelling

Ennager
Prodigal Void |
Independent |
Originally populated as a
Core
Commonwealth colony in
Ancient times, Ennager became an independent business-centered world
when several major
corporations, including InterSOL Bank,
Zyfinbek Mercantile, and the
Volto-Avaiga Amalgamation,
moved their administrative and development centers there during
late Antiquity The
whole world is expensive, high class, and shiny. Locals who don't
work for the corporations tend to be poor and shuffled off into
slums by the corporately controlled local government. Ennager is a
loosely regualyed, unofficial participant in the
Core
Commonwealth and in
Bjaki Federation
politics. Local policing and security is handled by
Volto-Avaiga's private
security wing. |
Epagon
Prodigal Void

Valgarad |
Settled by Valgarad
Humans in
pre-history,
Galadras would lapse into a
Dark Age from which
she would never recover. Isolated and alone, all
intelligent life would die off from the face of the
planet. In late Ancient
Times, Humans from
Valgarad and Caragon would resettle the planet. By mid-Archaic
times, the other powers in the
Farrago had conquered the
Valgarad Empire and battled over the pieces. |

Commonwealth and join the
Confederacy.
It was also a co-founder of the
UTP in
Antiquity. |

Makkuth |
The Makkuth homeworld
and capital of the
Makkuth Dynasty is a cold, rocky, dark place near
the far reaches of the star’s life band. Plants grow sparsely
but huge, competing for water and nutrition and struggling to get
enough light to photosynthesize. The food chain is tough and most
species have developed to be intelligent or highly-specialized.
Climate ranges from cold and snowy toward the poles to moderate at
the equator. Cites have developed everywhere but because of
limited resources, they tend to be smallish and spill out of rocky
mountainside cave complexes and other natural shelters which have
been conformed to the whims of the Makkuth. |
Masque

Bjaki |
Homeworld of both the
Balithrim and Iliene, Memphix is a

Federation's science base. It has a harsh northern continent
and an enormous, more stable southern continent. It tends to frequent,
violent storms and has a very aggressive and diverse eco-system. |
Menjur
Prodigal Void
|
Core |
A member of both the
Core Commonwealth and the
UTP. The Menjur system has a single
habitable planet, also called Menjur, which was settled in
Ancient Times. It has two continents,
Sarisland and Frigetauja, and a large island chain called Khekaita,
each of which is administered by its own government. The
governments generally co-exist peacefully and have historically
participated together in planetary issues like the expansion of
the colony into space and initially joining the
Core Commonwealth
in early Archaic
times. When the
Spinward Confederacy split from the
Core, the Sarisland government
wanted to go with it. After years of initial tensions, Sarisland
joined the UTP and began to trade with the
Confederacy against the
wishes of its Frigetauja and the Khekaita Islands. Ultimately, all
three powers joined the
UTP and maintain a joint membership with
the Core and individual memberships with the

Personally chosen by Mikhal Zvetaku as the first
Zvetaku settlement, it was a wild but habitable
environment. It was originally known as Obov, which is
still the name of the capital city, and renamed on
Mikhal's death. |
